We’ve long had a fascination with a more “creative” style of photography and a love the “impressionist” painters such as Monet and Turner, so often like to take a break from the more “classic, commercial” landscapes we shoot.
This gallery contains a selection of images from the natural world depicted in a more creative style, as well as taking the theme another step into the world of abstract art and impressionism.
A set of composite images, some made in camera with multiple exposures, others made by overlaying different images to give a painterly effect.
A set of abstract images of waves at the seashore created by using intentional camera movement to create an impressionistic image.
A set of abstract images using everyday objects, blurred, stretched and otherwise fiddled with.
One of these would make a great statement piece.
